MEMBERSHIP

There are two types of members: FULL and ASSOCIATE.

A full member is an owner of a 1905-1966 Ford Truck who has paid membership fees.
Someone who can participate and attend meetings and events on a regular basis.
In order to become a full member, one must pay membership fees and attend at least one meeting to be voted into the club. If he/she wishes to become a full member, the condition of attendance at meetings may be waived due to distance away from meetings or other extenuating circumstances.
Upon becoming a full member, he/she must acknowledge reading and understanding the Club's Constitution and sign the form accepting the same and Club rules. Full membership applies to, and includes, immediate family.

An associate member is one who does not own a 1905 -1966 Ford Truck or has not met the requirements for full membership.
He/she is someone who cannot attend or participate on a regular basis.
Associate members must pay membership dues and fill out an information sheet prior to joining.
Associate members have no voting rights within the Club.

To preserve the Ford Truck of years 1905 -1966.
To meet on a regular basis to discuss club business and truck business.
To organize and promote event for owners, enthusiasts and families of above trucks.
To provide a base of knowledge for restoration/ rebuilding/customizing the same.
To provide a forum for ideas, information, etc. through meetings and The Benchracer" newsletter.
To allow members accessibility to others with ideas, parts, knowledge, etc.
To contribute towards a club-designated charity.
To create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for members and their families.
To be a non-profit, non-discriminating organization.

All members (associate and full) have the right to attend all club related activities.
Full members are allowed to vote.
Full members have the right to table motions regarding Constitution of Club, changes, suggestions. These will, later, be put to a vote of membership.
All members receive all newsletters, notices and Club-related information.
Full members also receive dub membership card, associates do not.
Full members have rights to access financial statements on Club.
The Club retains the right to revoke membership at any time due to behaviour, vehicle unsafeness and any other justifiable reason and after a vote of membership not including member in question.

Meetings will be held regularly at designated locations specified in the previous month's newsletter and as announced at previous meeting.
Members must recognize the wishes of the owner of the property and act in accordance at these meetings.
Owner of property maintains rights to eject anyone from his property for whatever reason.
Meetings will be conducted by president.
President maintains order and allows members the floor to speak as he/she sees fit (if order is not maintained).
President also oversees voting and orders of business.

FULL MEMBER:
New Members:	$30.00 (Includes initiation fee) $17.50 (After July 1 st)
Returning Members:	$25.00 (per year)

ASSOCIATE MEMBER:
	$30.00 (per year) $15.00 (After July 1st)

NEWSLETTER MEMBER:
	$15.00 (per year)

NOTE: ALL MEMBERSHIPS END ON DECEMBER 31 OF THE CURRENT YEAR.
